HPU is a place where my son will be inspired, challenged and supported. First and foremost they offer an exceptional education woven with experiential learning, mentors and quality faculty. Even better, the campus is a really fun and beautiful place - they keep the students entertained, engaged and instill a mentality of service.

Not a single school compares to HPU. We have been touring colleges since Freshman year. My daughter has known she wanted to major in Biology/PreMed forever. She is a very smart student with so many options out there, but HPU is amazing and the campus is like no other.

Coming from California where people are obsessed with Ivy League or top 10 schools I feel they miss the whole point of an education and they overlook the important things that HPU offers. More people should think that way, and when they do, HPU will explode.

Choosing a school is a huge decision and a significant investment. There's an almost unbelievable number of accolades HPU proudly boasts about during the recruitment process. My experience is that they back it all up and live up to the hype. About the incredible and consistent culture and the opportunity to learn life skills and not just textbook work. I am a true believer and have promoted the school to many friends with current high school students.

Having a college that focuses so much time on Life Skills is what drew me to this school. Preparing these kids for the real world and interviewing process, business dinners, skilled conversations and just being an overall nice human being is something I haven't seen in any other school. I believe HPU is noteworthy for a number of reasons; however, at the top of our list is the focus on and commitment to life skills.

HPU is most certainly an incredibly beautiful place but that is merely one aspect of it and does not begin to tell its story and what it offers students and families. Its growth over the past 20 years is unparalleled but we love the focus on experiential learning and that the kids get an invaluable practical skills-based education that prepares them to hit the ground running to join the real world and make a contribution and mark right away. Our oldest son was employed within 2 months of graduation and we were so pleased with his growth and maturation during his time at HPU. He got a great education, had a great time, loved HPU and its President, faculty, staff, fraternity brethren and friends. He lives and works in Charlotte now and maintains regular contact (and lives with) HPU friends (for life). With that growth, it is clear to us that HPU continues to highly invest in its programs, degrees, schools, faculty, and infrastructure. As we've said, we've happily and with no regrets, sent both our kids to HPU. We could not be more happy or comfortable with those decisions.

Whenever I mention my daughter chose HPU everyone comments on how beautiful they've heard the campus is. I always say, yes, but what they really do well is provide the kids with good opportunities for lab research, internships, mentoring, interviewing skills etc…which ultimately prepare them to get good jobs after graduation. I speak about the faculty mentors too! I feel like people think because the campus is so beautiful it can't be good at all the other career stuff! My daughter's decision to attend was hers alone, but it was easy for my husband and I to accept. I knew someone from work and my gym who had their kids there and they assured me how Dr. Qubein's open house addresses really match the experience.

I think the biggest hurdle you all have is people understanding that everything is truly as fantastic as it appears. If I am being honest, I tried to poke holes. There are so many opportunities beyond the book learning for growth and practical skill development. The student will have to master the courses to be awarded the degree, but everything else they will be exposed to will set them apart. We also chose HPU because the culture reinforces the importance of putting in the work, respecting yourself and others, and understanding how very fortunate you are to have the opportunity to develop and pursue your goals.

Well, there is just too much for me to type, but to keep it short and sweet, the HPU motto says it all. HPU is a God, Family, Country University. The many opportunities for students to learn life skill begins from the very start of the admissions process is amazing. We were so impressed by this as we ventured through the process. From the beginning of the admissions process to the Convocation Ceremony, there were countless "life skill" moments being taught. All accomplished before the first day of classes. I can't even imagine how many more opportunities will be provided to students as they continue through the year.

For boys, who continue to show signs of struggling in higher education, I believe High Point has an advantage in retaining and developing male talent. Because the school is high touch and student focused and emphasizes community, I believe boys have a better opportunity to thrive at a place like High Point than in more traditionally structured academic settings.

Our approach to helping our son select a university was simple. We encouraged him to look big and small, but focus on finding a place that matches the values our family holds dear. If you read the information provided by HPU and listen to your recruiter, mentor, or success coach, you will not find a better setup for success for your student at another school. The campus is safe, the employees take great care to provide top-notch customer service, and the school thrives on the engagement of not only its students, but also the parents. High Point is a university committed to helping your child be successful. Having come from a smaller private school - the school size was a great transition for our daughter. She doesn't feel overwhelmed but doesn't feel like it's "just like high school" . Wow! HPU is a well-run organization. We got a "sneak preview" during the Summer Advantage program, where John met with his Success Coach, Steve, each week. The program was an intense four weeks, but what a fantastic way to adjust to college life and complete required courses. HPU is the most amazing place. It is a school invested in building students of character. I have spent the last 18 years teaching my son values and how to be a good human. I am confident that HPU will pick up where I left off and help him in this next chapter of his life. HPU does not stop at educating students they also work to help mold them into good citizens who are prepared for their future and our ever changing world. It is evident in the fact that they started the year with a class community service project. It is evident in the fact that within days of arriving my son has met with a student mentor. One of my favorite quotes from convocation was "we don't weed students out we WEAVE them IN!" I know HPU will guide my son and give him so many opportunities. He has truly become part of an EXTRAORDINARY community.

High Point University is amazing. The campus is beautiful and above all, the HPU customer service is phenomenal! Kindness and helpfulness to others speaks volume. I simply love this is evident on campus which sets a great example for all students to follow.

We left campus feeling proud, excited, and confident our daughter is exactly where she should be as she takes this next step on her journey. And, with the leadership and financial resources there's no letting up at HPU...the school will get stronger and stronger. HPU practices what it preaches. Our son's aunt is an alum, and she received a very personal and caring education many years ago. The same rings true, today. The campus and admission has grown but the 'community feel' has remained nurturing and authentic. It will truly be our son's home for next four years, and we are thankful for that.

When you have a leader that is entirely invested in the success of an organization, you have people that want to work for you and do a great job. The whole operations team and everything that is done at HPU is top-notch and should be a case study on how to get things done.

It truly is a God, Family, Country school. They live by their Core Values and it shows. As other higher education schools are going the other direction in their beliefs and standards, HPU is holding the line. Thank God for what they are modeling and teaching their students. Don't choose a University until you visit this place. I hope my other 3 children attend here as well.

I've grown fairly weary of trying to explain this school and situation to people such that I've taken the following approach. I basically tell people with kids looking at colleges: (1) look into HPU. You need to see this and learn about this to get a better sense of what is going on; anything I tell you will not do it justice; and (2) it's my position that anyone looking at smaller to medium sized schools must have HPU on their list - not just to research but you must visit; it would not be a complete college search without visting this school.

There is so much I could say about what HPU has to offer, but I think the most important is that HPU has the power to save America. Most of the news about higher education in our country is not good. From antisemitism to encampments and violence to divisive curricula, many other universities either allow or even encourage hatred of our country. I love that HPU is a God, family, country school that recognizes America's imperfections and challenges students to make it better, at the same recognizing there is no better country in the world. HPU's motto to be extraordinary and work hard to contribute positively to our country is perhaps the most important value a young adult can learn. I truly believe if every college campus instilled these values, the divisiveness in our country would heal.

The intentionality behind everything and the thought and care put into the facility and the students. It is not just fancy, but there are reasons for everything on campus.

HPU makes the drop off procedure stress free. My husband and I couldn't feel better about my daughters choice of colleges. We left shortly after convocation feeling good about leaving our first born and hoping our son will choose HPU in 2 years. You truly can't come to HPU and not want to be there yourself. We love everything about this campus and hope that our daughter embraces all the opportunities that this school has to offer. The students and staff make this feel like a true home. Nothing is perfect but HPU is as close as it gets.

When you see the advertisements and brochures, they are real. The campus is just as beautiful in person (even better in my opinion) as it is on paper. The faculty are very knowledgeable, and if they don't have the answer to a question, they will find out and direct you to someone who does. I can attest for the success coaches being wonderful as well, and can also say they are a great advantage to have for your student. I would encourage prospective parents to talk to people who actually have students at the school, and take a visit if possible. High Point University is really everything they say it is and more.

It's as great as it looks! My son is a sophomore and we couldn't have imagined his entering freshman sister going anywhere else but High Point.

It's not just a beautiful place… it's much more than that.

The culture seems top notch

Honestly it would be difficult to express into words to a prospective parent. I would just encourage them to plan a visit and ask questions. The guides/student ambassadors on our visit were excellent. The guy with the bowtie that runs that program should get a raise. He's on it. I can't tell you how impressive it is when a student is well-dressed, well-spoken, and engaging to prospective families. All the literature in the world can't express a fraction of what an actual on-campus visit can.

I think the weekend move in process helps make the transition easier. Many friends, at other universities, struggled with the move in, drop off and say goodbye scenario. We enjoyed being around and seeing her interact with new friends. By Sunday, it was time and it was easier to let go and go home.

The Move-In process for students is unmatched to any other campus. As a parent, you do not lift a finger until the things are in your child's room. It also happened so fast it was a bit overwhelming but nice at the same time. You also truly feel like your child is going to be well taken care of. From the students that were helping get things out of your vehicles to the students that were ensuring all of your items were received in your room, they were all so friendly. Ready to answer any questions and to make you feel at home right away.

The experience at move-in lives up to the hype. We truly experienced the "caring environment." You will experience excellence everywhere.

HPU mirrors the values of our family and we feel confident that our son is a part of a supportive, inspiring community. Visit. You have to see it and feel it to believe it.

You couldn't ask for a better university. It's gorgeous, spotless, safe and they couldn't do more for their students and families!

You really can't explain HPU via marketing brochures and internet blasts. As stated, it is really just something you feel. You either feel it, or you don't. It is more a matter of reaching the people who you know will feel it and getting them to visit!!

We are thankful for this place for our daughter to call home for the next four years, maybe longer if she chooses to pursue Law School or other post graduate studies.

In one of the hardest moments of my life as a parent, HPU made college drop off and the entire welcome weekend celebration a joyous occasion! Even in the midst of my tears knowing that life with my son was going to be forever changed, I couldn't help but be happy because he felt right at home from the moment he stepped onto campus. HPU is the place God called him to be and I truly believe he will receive an extraordinary education and receive the life skills he needs to be a successful contributor to society. HPU's motto of "God, Family, Country" isn't just another slogan. It's something that every member of the faculty, staff and administration believe and live out each day. They aren't ashamed to pray and give God the glory for His blessings; they aren't ashamed to recognize and support the importance of family; and they are proud to be Americans and fly the flag that represents our freedom. I would tell a prospective parent to start by researching HPU. You will be impressed by the opportunities and statistics that students from HPU are a part of. That is initially what peaked our curiosity about HPU. Then we went for a visit and saw, firsthand, just how special of a place HPU really is. I'd say, just go and see for yourself. Please tour! It is so great looking online but even better in person. It helps to fill in the blanks and get a sense that all at the school are there to help your student succeed!

I have not encountered any other university with the outreach, amenities and "customer service" that I have experienced at HPU. It is a well oiled machine and makes you feel like you made the right choice for your child and for you.

Every prospective parent and student needs to visit the campus. They need to see for themselves the beauty, uniqueness and genuineness of everyone at HPU. I truly believe this school will help my daughter grow and develop in a very positive way.

We just got here, so I don't have a lot to say yet. However, from the application process to the move-in process HPU is extraordinary! I don't know any other parents with kids in other schools who have any kind of similar experience. Some of the schools have caught on and organized helpful volunteers to move in freshman. But they do not do any of the other incredible HPU things to welcome families and students. We feel confident that HPU is the best spot for our child and that she is in a culture conducive to learning, growing, and respecting different viewpoints. Thank you!!!

This is our third child and we have considered many schools through the years. HPU is an extraordinary university unlike any other. We wish we had found HPU sooner.

How unique it is . It's like Disney world for college . Love they said pledge of allegiance and prayed at the convocation.

How well HPU pays attention to the details. It shows in many ways, and it goes a long way.

Your student will grow here and learn to be who they were meant to be. Your student will make this place their home within hours of being here. There is so much to do on campus for these students that they don't need to leave or will they want to. If they do there is plenty to do around campus. The campus looks beautiful and not many students will not want to be here but if they feel at home and feel comfortable then you know they made the right choice. They have to feel it and see themselves there.

Is a beautiful school filled with caring people

HPU is nothing you would ever expect for a University. You just have to go and experience it. We came to visit just to go through the motions of looking a colleges, but we knew this was the place and all our plans changed the morning of our visit.

I think the one thing I appreciated was how well thought out and organized each visit was for us. From our 1st tour to Early decision to President Scholars weekend to orientation to Welcome week, there was no stone unturned. The attention to detail was excellent!

Our entire experience since our first tour of HPU has been wonderful. Our daughter toured to make us happy and it was her first tour. We toured 8 other schools of various sizes and she compared each one to HPU. She never wavered from her tour that HPU was where she belongs.

They have to see it to fully appreciate it - once you experience the experience - it is second to none.

Nido Quebein is a leader among leaders and has assembled a highly competent team.

Go see HPU. What they have on that campus is special. I can not wait to see the growth my son has when I see him in a month!

Everything at HPU is top notch. From the security, to maintenence, to professors, the staff is so welcoming and friendly. In addition, the school instills values we truly relate to at home. We love that our daughter found HPU!

When you arrive it's a lot to take in!! the grand buildings- the fountains-fire pits - but once you settle in - it truly is a beautiful place.

It's easy to see the price and choke, then eliminate HPU as an option. HPU wasn't on my original list of possibilities for my son because of the price. When we scheduled a campus tour (I had never seen the campus before), I was determined not to be swayed by what the buildings looked like since I had heard from so many about how beautiful the campus is. I was won over by everything else - teaching life skills; stressing the values of God, family, and country; having gratitude for what you have and what's being given to you; not being caught up in woke culture; the push to be extraordinary and not doing or being just enough to get by; having success coaches that do everything they do; smaller student-to-teacher ratios; the attention to detail in everything; having a place to help with resumes, interview prep, pictures for headshots, and everything related to being prepared and equipped to enter the work force; having so many connections and opportunities with people and places in the business world; being known and cared for rather than just being a name or number; preparing students for the world of tomorrow rather than the world of yesterday; the food, entertainment, and intramural options available that allow students to have so many opportunities without having to leave campus. I don't feel like HPU tuition is an expense, but rather an investment into my son's career. I have confidence that this investment will pay off with great gains in his life and career.

They have made the best decision for their child, as this college provides the perfect balance of academic excellence, personal growth, and opportunities that will shape their future success.

We have now sent our second child to HPU (and are praying our third and last makes the same decision) and it really is all that it claims to be. There are no smoke and mirrors or bait and switch tactics. You are true to your word in all that you promise. It isn't a perfect world, but we don't live in a perfect world. But what you promise, you deliver on. And in a pretty amazing way.

Take this amazing opportunity with both hands. It is truly well worth the expense. Everything has been considered. My student is so happy which in turn makes my heart full. This has been an amazing start to a new chapter. I know Claudia will be extremely successful now she is in the right hands, the HPU family.

After doing your research, you will see that there is no other university out there, that is doing what HPU is doing for your child.

HPU is inspiring not only for their campus and facilities but with the people who work and volunteer there. Many schools talk a big game about support and all they offer. We know from our older children that it doesn't really happen that way. They get you in promising support and opportunities but fall far short of their promises. HPU backs up their promises. They talk the talk and they walk the walk. Honorable wouldn't you say?!

The trajectory that this school is on is nothing short of extraordinary. We see not just where it is, but where it's going, and it's only going to continue to become a better version of itself every year through the continual investment in additional programs, infrastructure, staff, etc.

We would encourage prospective parents to give strong consideration to HPU. My belief is HPU is on the climb while so many other institutions are either stuck or declining. I truly believe that an HPU degree is only going to become more and more prestigious.

It's all real and genuine. The school, the student body and the faculty all the way up to President Qubein are amazing. HPU is a rarity among colleges and universities in that as a parent you honestly feel that for every dollar you spend on an education there, you're getting more by way of return.

Leaving my daughter in the hands of HPU was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I felt secure in knowing that she could excel, grow, learn, be safe, have the best opportunities, be well fed, be cared for, feel at home, and rise to excellence here at this campus. I visited several campuses along this journey and none even came close. I would choose HPU again and again! It is definitely an EXTRAORDINARY university! I cannot wait to see my daughter's transformation during her time there!

My son graduated from Birmingham Southern College 2 years ago with some amazing friends and coaches and teachers. It was a very special spot for him and how sad that it no longer exists. I think the point I would drive home to prospective parents is that HPU is not going anywhere and that your child's diploma will just become more valuable as time moves on.

My mother always said "you get what you pay for," and that rings especially true when it comes to HPU. We live thirty minutes from Highpoint and discovered HPU when our daughter attended a lacrosse camp there. My wife and I would take walks around the campus while she was busy with the camp and we were amazed by how beautiful it was. We soon made an appointment for a tour that summer. What sold us was their attention to detail, not just with how clean and beautiful the campus was, but how everything is geared toward teaching life skills and genuinely having a commitment to make sure your child is prepared for the next chapter in their "real" life. The accommodations, security, food and overall education are exceptional.

We are lucky to have families in our community with children that have / are attending HPU. We leaned on them to help us understand their experience with HPU and the value of the investment. We will be sure to return that favor to other families in the future.

We feel very fortunate to have found High Point University after we moved from CA to NC in 2021. The main thing I would want a prospective parent to know is that Dr. Qubein is a uniquely forward thinking, creatively inventive, investment minded, student prioritized and caring president. He is the difference maker, and it is reflected in the staff and students on campus. HPU creates a feeling that you are investing in your child's future, not just paying tuition at a university or college.

Go for it. The money we invest in tuition is clearly evident all around at HPU. Honestly, I was thinking about who does the budget? There is so much beauty and that costs money to maintain along with the elite professors and huge staff to keep it all running. I expect HPU students take pride in their campus and keep it all nice because it is all SO nice. We love that HPU is unaplogetic about God, Family, Country but also inclusive of everyone.

The experience our senior has had and what our freshman will have is absolutely PRICELESS! Even though we had to take loans out for their education I cannot think of anything else so valuable in the return on their investment! So excited we have found a home in HPU!!!

It is by far the easiest process for college admission and the opportunity and education my child will receive is beyond measure.
